I met a friend this morning, he was discussing about the paintings which I upload on my FB account. He asked me "why do you do paintings which cannot be understood by everyone " I didn't  know what to answer, I think most of them feel that only an art which can be understood by everyone is an art form. How many of them pay attention to the beautiful world around them? How many of them admire the intricate art of Chozhas temple or sithannavasal?
 How many of them  spend some time and try to praise the artist who draws on the streets to make  meager money to make is day ?
Research conclude that  the average duration of time spent in front painting is hardly 30-40 seconds. what do you expect in that ephemeral time span?
 Rothko states   I'm not interested in the relationship of color or form or anything else. I'm interested only in expressing basic human emotions: tragedy, ecstasy, doom, and so on.”

How many of us can decipher his works..

Who is to be blamed - The 20% creators or the 80% critics around them? What would happen if I do a painting which everyone can understand - 'Nothing"

 Just more number of likes on social platform or big fan followings , Does the volume of likes going to bring change in the quality of  work?

  Art appreciation among commoner is very poor, it is mandatory to understand the genre and the style of painting before trying to understand it. Most often people think  realism is the only style of painting, it is not so there are several style of paintings which evolved over years from the Cueva de las Manos ( Hands cave)

You can't keep explaining every art form, be it cubism, analytic cubism, fauvism, dadaism, pop art to every one before you start painting. I do art for the art sake ,

 I dont want anyone to understand my work. I request them to use their blessed brain to perceive the way they want.
